For Christmas 2009 I went to a festival to meet new people. At the festival I also encountered many other new things: yoga, dance, liberating breathing and kundalini yoga. I had no major experiences with yoga before, apart from an ashtanga class at a sports club in Hamburg which I found very stressful, I never went back there. Kundalini yoga at the festival was love at the first kriya. I especially liked that it went slowly, that I could keep up and that I got to REST during and after the yoga! And having done yoga even before breakfast was absolutely wonderful.

Over the following year I attended a series of weekend classes and workshops to learn more about this amazing form of yoga. I learned the breath of fire, different hand positions, to like Ishnaan - the cold shower in the morning - and how to take care of myself with different yogic tools.

Since the summer of 2011, I have been doing yoga and meditating pretty much every morning. What a start to the day!

When Elenor started her teacher training as a Kundalini yoga teacher, I was allowed to join her homework session every morning. Pretty quickly I noticed that I wanted to understand more. I wanted not only to do yoga but to know more and understand the background and why this particular kriya was good for this area.

So in the spring of 2013, I decided at a retreat in the Archipelago to apply for a level 1 kundalini yoga teacher training. In May 2014 I graduated and am now an international KRI-certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher.

In March 2015, I completed the one-year step 1 training in Sat Nam Rasayan, the healing form of Kundalini yoga, at the Kundalini Yoga Institute with Viveka Pasquier and Annika Waldenström and am now a Sat Nam Rasayan Healing Practitioner.

In April 2015, I participated in Gurudass Kaur's children's yoga teacher training according to Childplay. The most fun training I've been a part of!

Between 2015 and 2019, I continued my education with courses in the kundalini yoga teacher training level 2, which includes 5 independent modules.

In the fall of 2017, I completed the 1-year training White Sound Gong Meditation with Gérard Jap Nirantar Lach and Ada Devinderjit Namani where I learned to play the gong for deep relaxation and White Sound Gong Meditation. Since then, I have continued to further my education in playing the gong.
